Rebel (Rebel Series #1) - Elle Casey

Rebel - Elle Casey

So Much Fun!!! Asolutely love this new series!!!

Wow, Rebel was just a pure pleasure to read. It was so much fun! I probably mention this every review but it's always true: No matter how high I raise the bar of my expectations for one of Elle Casey's books she always manages to go way above and beyond them. I mean I know I knew I was going to love this book because all of her books are great but I'm still amazed by how much I truly loved this book. Reading Rebel for the past day and a half was just a non-stop dopamine blast to my brain. Seriously, I had such a good time reading it and was only sorry after it was over when I had to come down out of my cloud and rejoin the rest of the mortals once again. I think Mrs. Casey's books and especially Rebel are some of the best examples on the Theory of Relativity that I've ever seen. Time just flies when you're having a good time and it always seems like her books are over with so very fast even though they're not short by any means. It's like seconds go by and it's over. Of course part of that is due to her style of writing which just has such a natural flow to it. Reading Rebel didn't really feel like reading a book an author had written but more like a glimpse into Teagan and Rebels life. I went along with them for a journey and I honestly don't even remember seeing any of the words on the pages. I was just there and I loved every second of it.

Not only did Rebel have a great storyline, rich characters and some nice romantic scenes but it was also extremely funny and fun to read. I was laughing out loud by the third page and I don't think I stopped laughing until the very end. I think I have cramps in my mouth from laughing so much and yeah I know that sounds really bad but it's true. Teagan is just hilarious especially when she's all flustered and can't quit blabbering and being around Rebel really flusters her so that's pretty much the whole book. I loved the fact that Teagan's not your average rich girl. She's very down to earth, well in most ways, she's tough yet kind plus her colorful language is just priceless. There's plenty of action, lots of humor, some nice romantic and sexy scenes not to mention and evil stepmother. Seriously, what more could you ask for? Muscle cars you ask? Blam - wish granted!

Rebel is tough, quiet (the guy hardly speaks more than a few words a day at times) and good looking. Think Dolph Lundgren (who Teagan has always had a huge crush on) but bigger and better looking. Rebel is a pretty deep guy and I really liked the way Elle Casey manages to make him convey so much with so few words. I enjoyed every character and can't wait to read more about all of them. Rebel has two brothers known as Hellion and Trouble. I really liked Hellion right off the bat but wasn't sure about Trouble until the end when he totally won me over. Teagan's best friend Quin was really awesome too. She's the kind of best friend that every girl should have. She helps to push Teagan when she is wanting to give up and cuts right through Teagan's bs to get to the heart of the matter when Teagan needs her to the most. Quin knows her so well and knows how to push all of her buttons and I hope we get to see more of her. Actually I'm hoping maybe she'll fall for one of Rebels brothers and vice versa, then they could be one giant happy family.

I want to say so much more but don't want to ruin anything, plus we'll be here all day if I do so I'm just going to finish by saying that I cannot wait for the next two books to come out. I really love how every single new Elle Casey book becomes my favorite book at least until I read her next one or reread one of her other books or series. Rebel is just such a great book and I really had an awesome time in Teagan and Rebels world. I'm counting down the days until Hellion is released. It's been a bit of a rough week and Rebel was the perfect book to just kick back and unwind with and was a great way to start off the weekend. I so wish I could just hibernate like bears do so that way every time I woke up I'd have another Elle Casey book to read. I'd be one happy bear : )
